Job summary

The winder performs the rewinding tasks of electric motors in compliance with safety standards and works under the responsibility of the Supervisor of electromechanical services.

 

General responsibilities

  • Identify problems on all types of electric motors under your responsibility;
  • Determine the parts to be replaced or repaired;
  • Proceed with repair work in accordance with established procedures;
  • Perform dynamic balancing, alignment, vibration analysis and other work;
  • Check the quality of the repairs carried out;
  • Take charge of the winding of electric motors
  • Take all necessary means to protect his safety and that of his colleagues by respecting OHS rules, policies and procedures;
  • Participate in the identification of risks and the search for solutions or ideas for improvements in OHS;
  • Perform any other related tasks as needed

 

Terms & Conditions

  • DEC in Electromechanics or equivalent;
  • Technical knowledge of electric motors;
  • Relevant experience of at least two years;
  • Comfortable with forklifts (having their cards, an asset);
  • Excellent mechanical skills and knowledge;
  • Hold a driving license;
  • Ability to work long hours standing;
