Job summary
Our client is in search of a person whose function is the surveillance, occupation, hygiene and well-being of the beneficiaries. She sees to the comfort and general needs of beneficiaries and helps them in their movements. If necessary, she provides beneficiaries with basic care and may be called upon to install certain devices for which she is trained. She informs managers and other members of the health care team about the behavior and behavior changes of beneficiaries.
General responsibilities
- Help and support residents in their movements
- Notify the nurse and / or the person in charge of health services of any observed changes in the state of health of the residents
- Contribute to the adjustment of the residents’ intervention plan through their observations
- Respect and promote proactive care by residents
- Comply with standards and regulations in accordance with the certification of private seniors’ residences and employer’s policies
- Carry out a set of health and hygiene care while respecting the integrity and dignity of residents, in collaboration with the team
- Respond to all emergency situations
